Forged Art Found

I recently found out that the following person has been plagiarizing art from Bruce Timm. His name is:
Hans Christian Vang (hcvang@12move.dk)
he lives in Copenhagen Denmark.
ebay username: hansvanhage and has also used duksedrengen.

Be aware! He has changed usernames several times and sometimes used other "friends" to sell his fake art. He also sells DC and Marvel Style guides.

I originally purchased a Wonder Woman sketch on ebay that was suppose to be created by Bruce Timm (see below). Upon further investigation I found that he had copied it from an original that Bruce had sent him. I also found out the he sold the same copy to another person in the auction. It seems that Hans has been on ebay trying to sell his forgeries to unsuspecting collectors.

Before I found that my piece was a fraud he scans for me to look at which he wanted to sell me. Upon comparing them to the ones posted on the Bruce Timm website I noticed faint differences. This is when I knew my piece was counterfeit.

If you are purchasing Bruce Timm artwork, be sure to get it from a reputable source!

  

Recently Hans has contacted me to express his regret in forging Bruce's art and selling them on ebay. He also eventually sent the original to try and make amends.
